En: Director Matjaz Ivanisin has chosen to take us to a strictly male world. To a world of men striking punching balls at a funfair, wrestling, throwing heavy rounds of cheese through narrow streets, etc. Does this mean that the film is just an inventory of manly representations and their ancient roots in these remote corners of the Mediterranean? Fr: Le réalisateur Matjaz Ivanisin a choisi de nous emmener dans un monde purement masculin : un monde d'hommes qui frappent des punching-balls lors d'une fête foraine, luttent, jettent de lourdes pièces de fromage à travers des rues étroites... Mais ce film est bien plus qu'un inventaire des représentations viriles et de leurs origines dans des coins reculés de la Méditerranée. |
