EN: A veritable crucible of musical diversity, the sound of Pol Belardi's Force distills ingredients from contemporary jazz, rock, electronic music and cinematic soundscapes into a distinct blend of musical joy. More than four strong individuals, each with a strong recognizable voice, the musicians of the band have sculpted a unique band aesthetic over the past decade, turning the original compositions by the band leader into colorful sonic delights. The last two conceptual albums Creation/Evolution (Double Moon Records, 2017) and Organic Machines (Cristal Records, 2019) were critically acclaimed and both represent important steps for the band's career. Every once in a while, however, Pol Belardi (also a versatile arranger) extends the original lineup with a string quartet, in this way adding even more color to the band's already vast sonic spectrum by taking advantage of the homogenous timbre and the rich textures unique to a string ensemble. In praise of folly is an innovative Brussels-based string quartet. Whilst its musicians are classically trained masters of their instruments, they have progressively devoted themselves to a distinct philosophy of musical collaboration, expansion and cross-genre performance. They are best known for their joint venture with legendary band Marillion. For this unique concert, a colorful selection of original compositions will be presented in this intuitive setting, high on emotion, dynamics, interaction, energy and fun! Le groupe Force s'inspire autant du jazz contemporain que du rock, de la musique électronique ou de la musique de film. Plus que d'avoir 4 voix bien distinctes, les musiciens ont créé une unique esthétique sonore à travers les 10 dernières années, transformant les compositions originales du leader du band dans des collages plein de nuances. Les 2 derniers albums conceptuels Creation/Evolution (Double Moon Records, 2017) et "Organic Machines (Cristal Records, 2019) marquent des étapes importantes de leur carrière et se voient très positivement reçus par les auditeurs ainsi que les critiques. Le timbre homogène et la texture riche du son des instruments à cordes contribuent a élargir le vaste spectre sonore que le band propose. In praise of folly est un quatuor à cordes basé à Bruxelles. Après un parcours d'études en musique classique, les 4 interprètes se tournent progressivement vers une philosophie musicale à mélange de genres, en focalisant sur des collaborations et projets éclectiques. Elles ont particulièrement été applaudies durant leur collaboration avec le groupe légendaire Marillion.
