Young German pianist-singer-composer Olivia Trummer, recipient of the important Jazz Award Baden-Württemberg 2019, is considered one of the most promising musicians of her generation in the international jazz scene. Her vivid stage presence, soulful singing, easygoing piano playing and genuinely natural improvising enrapture her audiences worldwide.

Her new album For You (released in March 2022 by Warner Music) consists of original songs of hers meditating and raising questions on personal integrity. Olivia Trummer's answers are instantly memorable melodies. Though a jazz album in its making and essence, the music also shows affinity to pop, gospel and RnB idioms, at times also evoking the songwriter age of the 70's. Her songs are light and accessible, at the same time they convey musical density and lyrical depth.

After her formative years in Stuttgart, New York and Berlin, Olivia Trummer has discovered a new artistic home in the Italian jazz scene. Thus the Italian lineup of her trio: drummer Nicola Angelucci, acclaimed in Europe for his rhythmic elegance, multifarious dynamics and empathic presence on stage, has become one of Olivia's closest music companions since they first met in 2016; and bassist Rosario Bonaccorso, appreciated worldwide for his warm full warm sound and his communication skills on stage, can already look back on a long, important career both as bandleader as well as sideman of the likes of Enrico Rava or Stefano di Battista.

The Olivia Trummer Trio, showing refined rhythmic and harmonic cohesion, first sound out and then increasingly and naturally dissolve the borders between jazz and `good pop" music. In a nutshell: they play tunes that want to move and grow on listeners of all ages.
